27 PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES FOR TODDLERS TO ENCOURAGE AT-HOME INDEPENDENCE
We’re all in the midst of social distancing and have our kiddos home with us. Luca’s school is closed “until further notice” to try and slow the spread of COVID-19.
And I am 100% ok with it! We are doing our small part to help the whole society by staying home and away from people right now.
That said, Luca attends a Montessori school for toddlers and I have learned some great tips from his teachers over the last few months! I wanted to share a list of super simple, everyday “activities” (slash chores) for toddlers to help encourage at-home independence. We have been doing many of these already (laundry, vacuuming, putting away dishes, help in the garden…) but I figure now with being home for the foreseeable future is the perfect time to add more on to the list of chores he can help with!
Let me know if you have others to add here and I will update the list as we go! We’re all in this together❤️
