American Eagle Spring Try-On
Bermuda Shorts & Kimonos
I have had a few requests to try on these Bermuda shorts so I was happy to finally oblige! And I am even happier to report back that I LOVE them. They are not stretchy, and as far as denim goes, and the material is pretty lightweight/thin but I think that makes them perfect for the warmer months!
I have to be honest, this is the first pair in a long time that I have liked. I feel like the inseam length has to be just right – too long and they’re frumpy, too loose and they’re masculine, too short and they’re just regular shorts. These AE Bermudas hit at the PERFECT point (several inches above the knee) for me. They also have a slim fit and hug my thighs a bit for a slimming and feminine effect. I have an athletic build with bigger thighs and curvy hips and I LOVE how these look on me, I am wearing my normal size (8).
I paired the shorts with these two floral kimonos to bring a little femininity back into the looks. American Eagle has beautiful kimonos right now; if you don’t have one in your wardrobe I highly recommend investing in one! To me, they are a staple because of the many ways you can style them!

Floral Sweatshirt
As soon as I saw this floral-print sweatshirt I had to have it! I think the colors go so beautifully together and it is perfect for Spring! I am wearing my normal size (medium) and it fits great. Just be aware that it is slightly cropped and I think it looks better (personally) with high-waisted pants or shorts. I also wanted to show how a different pair of shoes can completely change the vibe of an outfit – you could even pair this sweatshirt with casual Converse or Birkenstocks!

Cropped Floral Top & White Denim
I was pleasantly surprised by this top! I don’t usually go for color (let alone yellow!) but I love the cut of this top, I think it would look great on any body type! The ruffled sleeves and cinched waist are super flattering, plus bonus points for being nursing-friendly! Keep in mind it’s cropped so I reccomend high-waisted pants. These white pants are actually jeggings, if you’re looking for a great, affordable pair of white pants these are a great option! They are super stretchy and have great distressing, I’ve also linked a non-distressed pair! Both the top and pants fit TTS on me!

Striped Button-Front Dress
I didn’t love this dress on me but I’m including it for my feedback! It is not made for busty gals – I am a 34D and the chest was too tight for me. It’s an adorable dress and I think would look great on some women but it wasn’t for me! This is a medium (my normal).

Short-Sleeve Shirt Dress
This dress as much more my speed! It’s a great length, made of light-weight linen and comes with a completely removable slip. I love it both cinched at the waist with a thin belt (I would have chosen a more neutral color instead of black, but this was al I had!) or loose and boxy! Buttons ARE functional so it’s great for nursing and pumping mamas. I can also picture this dress as a beach cover-up so it gets bonus points for versatility. I am wearing my normal size, which color do you think I should keep!?\

Striped Jogger Pants
Love these jogger pants! I tried on the olive green pair earlier this week, see the post HERE (How to Style a Leopard Print Top) and was immediately hooked! They are super lightweight/airy and dressier than normal joggers but still incredibly comfy! I love this color for spring and summer and paired it with a neutral cami. This is a great look for a daytime event, date night or even a girls brunch. You could also throw a denim jacket on if it’s a little chillier!

Strapless Jumpsuit
I am actually loving these colors for Spring – the blush and tan tones keep it light and fun even though there are some deep reds and blacks! The material is very light-weight and flowy, and it does come with removable spaghetti straps. I think this jumpsuit is perfect to dress down for day time or up for nighttime. For a nighttime look, I would wear a bold statement necklace or maybe even get crazy in a blush or cream blazer! Wearing my normal size here.

Striped Kint Jumpsuit
My first impression of this jumpsuit was that it was again, too small on my chest and showed too much cleavage. But I think by wear a different bra, like a bandeau, I would feel a lot better! The material is heavier than the other jumpsuit and much more stretchy. I paired it with a denim jacket and white Birkenstocks to keep it casual, fits TTS (unless you have a bigger chest than 34D, if that’s the case, size up)!
