Modest Swimsuits and Coverups for Moms
As I sit here in our Maui hotel room I can’t help but feel insanely blessed. We got to travel to freaking MAUI, HAWAII with our almost-one-year-old (yes I’m crying) baby boy. Traveling is something that has always been important to Alex and me and I am so happy to be able to instill that same virtue in Luca.
But I digress! This post has been long-awaited and is about my current favorite modest swimsuits and coverups for moms. Most are super (and I mean SUPER) affordable from either Target or Amazon and a few are higher-end because I just loved them so much and they are worth it! All these modest swimsuits and coverups have great butt coverage yassss (*praise hands*)!
But really – is it so much to ask to want to find a swimsuit that makes you feel confident and sexy but also covers up all the parts!? That is what I was going for in my search for swimsuits this season – modest and subtly sexy in an “I’m a mom and I’m gonna rock my mom-bod” kind of way!
Here are some things I personally look for when shopping for swimsuits:
- High-waisted bottoms for bikinis or fully full bum coverage
- Non-frumpy one-pieces
- Chest support
- Easy access for nursing
- Pretty floral pattern or solid color with pretty detailing like crocheting

Full-Coverage Bikinis
Target – Size large in both bottom and top! Love the print and the high-waisted bottoms!
Target – Size large in both bottom and top! Such a fun print!
Target – Size D/DD in the top and large in the bottoms! LOVE this modest swimsuit for moms, coverage is great and the detailing makes it seem higher-end!
Target – Size 34DD in the top, large bottoms. This is a great style for larger-chested gals! Also comes in black!
Modest One-Piece Swimsuits for Moms
Amazon (Cupshe) – Size large, butt coverage could be slightly more full on this one but it is still super modest!
Amazon (Cupshe) – Size large, real wrap and tie! The verticle stripes are super flattering!
Amazon (Cupshe) – size large, this deep-V cut is super flattering and the crochet detail makes it seem higher end! Also comes in a ton of color options!
Target – Size large, note that the pads are not removable! Has a cool tie-back!
Nordstrom (Becca) – Size large, more expensive but freaking LOVE this suit! It is double lined which I think does a fantastic job at hiding the bumps and whatever else is going on underneath it haha
Macy’s (Becca) – Size large, another higher end suit but I’ve seen this one go on sale, even recently! That’s why I got the white, I’ve had the black since last summer! But for real this suit is fire and I think every woman should own it! Available in white, black, burgundy and olive!
Nordstrom (Becca) – Ok this suit is a tad bit revealing and has zero support for your boobs but I think it’s gorgeous! The material is the softest EVER and you know I love a deep-V! I don’t know, I know it’s not practical but I’m obsessed! Wearing the large!
Beach Coverups
Target – size large, UNDER $20!!!! Super light weight, crochet detail, elastic under-boob
Nordstrom – Size medium, SUPER lightweight and flowy! Also has pockets!!
Nordstrom – size medium, pretty much the same as the long one above but short and has a fun back!
Nordstrom – LOVE this cover up! I am in the medium, the color is gorgeous and so different and I love how its kind of just a super oversized tee!
Nordstrom – Size medium, cute romper, a tad short in the back but I tried the large and it was away too baggy! Also comes in black!
