It’s about time for another family photo shoot! Picking my own outfit is a struggle in itself, but throw in the decision for my husband and baby and things could go downhill very quickly!
My goal is simple: achieve an overall cohesive family look while not being too matchy-matchy. For me the key is to use neutral and complementing tones, those always photograph better. If you choose to go for a pop of color I would suggest something like burgundy or gold – festive but subtle!

Sometimes casual is the best option when we are looking for family picture outfit ideas. You feel and look more like your everyday self! Choosing a nice chunky sweater, paired with denim or leggings, boots, and a scarf or vest is a great option if that’s you!

Sweater dresses paired with over the knee boots would be so cute! Definitely into the sweater dresses for holiday photos but also the longer, flowy ones as well.

If you’re looking to throw in a little pop of color accessorizing with bolder boots, scarves, a vest or a hat is a great option!
